Good afternoon from a sunny but cold South africa

I have installed Nexus 11.2 and love the program, thank you to all involved.

I am having a small issue with the weather module.. It does not seem to want to update at all, there always seems to be a connection error. "Connection to weather server failed"

I have selected South Africa and Lanseria from the location and settings section and left everything else default but my weather does not want to update at all.

Please could someone point me in the right direction to try get this sorted out.

Sounds like your Firewall is blocking Nexus. What does the clock module say about 'Atomic Time Servers Last Checked:' when you mouse over it?

Thanks Winstep, you've hit the nail on the head.. connection failed with clock. I connected via 3G and all was fine.

I changed Nexus to use proxy server but still no joy even after telling it which proxy to use. Looks like the AD authentication isn't working seamlessly.

Maybe something to look at in a future release is a place for username and password for proxy authentication?
