Hello,

I found your product yesterday and have enjoyed setting it up and using it. Thank you for developing this!

I'm having issues with the "Prevent maximized windows from overlaping the dock" setting. Even when I enable this, all of my windows still overlap the dock. I tried setting the nexus.exe executable to run as admin and rebooted, but I have the same issue.

What am I missing?

1. Is the dock docked to a screen edge or 'free floating'? The 'prevent maximized windows from overlapping the dock' feature only works for docks attached to a screen edge (docked).

2. Are you sure the windows covering the dock are indeed maximized and not running full screen instead, or even non-maximized?

Also, you do NOT want to run Nexus with admin privileges, drag & drop from outside applications will stop working due to the User Interface Privilege Isolation (UIPI). In fact, Nexus probably warned you about this when you executed it with admin rights.

Thank you for the reply.

1) It is docked at the bottom of my 2nd screen. I tried at the top too, same story.

2) Yes, I will submit a screenshot.

3) Alright, I will change it back. It did not give any warnings.

Here's a screenshot showing notepad maximized and the option checked. This is after disabling Run as admin.

Ah, ok, I know now what's wrong: currently Nexus is only able to reserve screen space on the primary monitor, sorry.

That's one of the things I want to see 'fixed' in the next release.

Ah ok, that's easy for me to fix. I'll just put it on the primary! Thanks!

Has there been any development on the Nexus on more than one monitor issue?

Yes. Winstep applications are now able to reserve screen space on all monitors, not just the primary.
