As far as I'm aware, there is no "clock.wav". What exactly are you looking for?

looks like
c\users\public\public documents\winstep\themes\Voce Femminile (ITA)
and
c\users\public\public documents\winstep\themes\Voce Maschile (ITA)

i'm assuming from the look of it and the sound of it mine is in portuguese including the folder names even though everything else in winstep seems to be in english like it should be. i downloaded this through the winstep site from cnet, so i should of gotten an all english version. this copy is less than 3 months old. and before someone ask yes i clicked on some of the wav files in the folders and they are not in english.

The "dong" sound, which is *not* related to the time announcement, is located (assuming your system drive is C) in:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Winstep\Themes\WinstepSamples\wsChime.wav

Of course, instead of replacing the original file, you could always go to the sound settings in the preferences and simply change the "Clock Chime" sound file to anything you want.
Cheers!
