windy i'm with skagon on this one. i'm running the following, and i know if i wanted to add usb 3.0 port after usb 3.0 port to this system i could. you're not accessing them all at once., and neither is your processor.

asus rampage formula
intel core2duo e8400
evga nvidia 8800 gts
4 gigs ddr2 6400
creative x-fi sound card
a usb 3.0 2 port card
one external usb 3.0 drive
650 watt psu
5 internal hdd's
