Are you guys working on a Windows 10 version? If so, when do you think it will be completed?

Thanks

As far as I know Winstep software works fine on Windows 10.

When the time comes, any issues with the final version of Windows 10 will be quickly sorted out.

I am using Windows 10 Build 10130 and testing Start Menu Organizer Pro with it. It appears that SMO Pro allows you to add new categories which will show up properly on the Win10 start menu. You can then move uncategorized start menu items to the new category and they, too, will show up properly.

Problems start, however, when you try to add a new SUBcategory. It appears to work within the SMO Pro program, but the new SUBcategory does NOT show up on the Win10 start menu. Likewise, you can move uncategorized start menu items to the new SUBcategory within SMO Pro, but they will show up (improperly) as if they were added to the parent category instead.

What will happen to SMO users' menus when Microsoft releases Windows 10 as an in-place update to Windows 7? If the user had built SUBcategories into their start menu, it could be a mess.

Is any work or testing being done by Winstep to ensure this problem will be avoidable?

SMO compatibility with Windows does not go beyond Windows 7 (check the system requirements section at top right section of the SMO page HERE).

Microsoft crippled/changed the way it displays the Start Menu from Windows 8 onwards. As such, nothing can be done to bypass this (other than using a replacement such as the NextSTART component of Winstep Xtreme).
