No, it wasn't a mistake to post it here even though it wasn't the Winstep program that caused it.

That's what the forum is for, especially when you're new to Winstep products. I'm sure your post caused many users to know about Unchecky and Driver Booster which should aid in the reduction of issues that might lead a user into incorrectly thinking that a Winstep product caused a crash or other abnormal behavior.

I've realized over the years that in most cases some other program or driver is the culprit but posting here is still the best thing to do to help get to the bottom of it.

There are others here that are more knowledgeable than me, but once in a while I can help.
