Id love a larger zoom for the magnify effect, current is 255 pixels, if it could go up to 300 that would be perfect

I don't think so, sorry.

Most original icon sizes don't exceed 128x128 pixels, although some will be 256x256. Magnified to 300x300 those icons would look extremely blurred.

i make icons for my games that are 512x512, also thats why i bought this program and recently renewed it last month, i only use it for games and emulator games but if that feature wont be ever getting added then this is last time im renewing for this program

Sorry if you feel that way, since Winstep applications are about so much more than simply being able to display 300x300 icons.

I'm not going to be 'blackmailed' into adding features that only a single user has shown an interest in: it's a golden road to bloatware. I sincerely hope you're able to find another dock (or another way) to accomplish what you're looking for.

If I may weigh in, here, I fully support Jorge's attitude against "blackmail"; I think it's rather sad to say anything like "if you don't do this, I'm not buying".

Having said that, however, Jorge... I understand what you're saying, if we're talking about .ico files. But... Winstep does support .png files for icons, which can have any resolution, so they'll look perfectly fine in any size.
Plus... displays with ultra-high resolutions are becoming more and more common, nowadays. It's not uncommon for someone to have, say, a 23-inch monitor with a high DPI and a resolution of 2000+ horizontal pixels.
That's a lot of pixel density in a small physical area and from that perspective, 256x256 icons would look tiny.
Perhaps you could... I don't know... give it some further thought?

You said it wont ever be added so im simply saying then i dont need to buy this anymore. (dont see how thats blackmailing! why should someone buy something thats no longer suitable to then?)

As SKAGON said about the 256x256 icons would look tiny, thats what i have atm thats why i only asked if it could get added, when running on my 4k tv they look tiny that i cant read them
