I've got two hotspots associated with my desktop a left-click and a right-click for two menus. Works great.

However, when I have my Windows Explorer open and it's currently situated at the Desktop node and I left click or right click the explorer, say an icon for instance,, yep you guessed it, the hotspots are activiated because the explorer at that instant, has the name "Desktop".

Anyway to get around this?

Not sure if this will work, but try renaming the 'Apply Hotspot to' field from 'Desktop' to 'Program Manager'.
