I've just installed Messenger and I've noticed that its icon on dock doesn't combine already running instance of an app, which means I can click icon on dock and it'll keep running new Messenger instances. I'm aware it's because it is a PWA app, and it runs an edge browser instance rather than its own process.

I wonder how I can properly combine those into a single Messenger icon - to be able to show/hide Messenger app by clicking Messenger PWA app icon in dock - while having a separate Edge icon in dock and being able to run it separately regardless if I ran Messenger or not.

I remember looking into this some time ago regarding Chrome (and Edge is now based on Chromium) and coming to the conclusion that it's not possible because PWA windows are indistinguishable from normal Chrome/Edge windows.

Unless something changed in the mean time...
