Hi

I'm running two 27" monitors in extended mode and i was wondering if there is a way to setup nexus dock to be shown on both monitors at the same time ?

Ideally I would like to have exactly the same dock shown on both monitors... so if i'll remove/add item to one dock its automatically updated on the other one.. Is something like that possible ?

I'm new to Nexus dock and love it from day one :)

The free version of Nexus only supports a single dock (and if you are thinking about updating now is the time to do it, there is a 50% off promotion currently going on for Nexus Ultimate).

Even with Nexus Ultimate what you ask is not currently possible - what you can do is create a dock just how you want it to and then once you are happy with it clone it (duplicate dock) via the dock management panel/context menu.

This said, you are not the first to ask for dock "clones" that auto-update themselves. Might be an interesting feature to add.

Yea, and not just for docks either! :) I'm thinking where someone might have a two monitor setup of unequal size/res/dpi but wants the same NS menus, taskbar, Shelf, what have you. :)

Menus, not so much... but actually something similar already happens with the NextSTART taskbar when you set it to appear in every monitor - whatever you in one, is also automatically done to the other(s).

But the NextSTART clone taskbars are "ghost" bars, only one exists in reality (one of the reasons why you only get one taskbar per monitor IF the taskbar is docked - otherwise I would have to track positions and sizes on an individual basis.

So, not sure if I should do something like that (the "clone" docks would only appear if the "source" dock is docked to a screen edge so they all are, except to the edges of different monitors).

The other option would be individual docks but where one (or more) would be set to clone the contents a source dock. This would be more flexible but would also open a can of worms, e.g. what about themes, which settings are cloned and which are shared, or is it just the actual contents, etc...

Speaking for myself, I'd want *everything* cloned. After all, a clone's only really a clone if absolutely everything is exactly duplicated. :D

Does Nexus even support multiple instances of the same dock? I’ve only ever used it on a single screen—wondering if this is a hard limitation or just a settings tweak.Lightroom Mod APK

As I said in my reply immediately below, "The free version of Nexus only supports a single dock".

Under Nexus Ultimate and Winstep Xtreme you can have as many docks as you want (and sub-docks, and shelves, and drawers, and grid stacks, and so on...)
