Asking gets a lot more accurate answers, assumptions are the mother of all fuckups.. I wonder how many others stopped creating for similar reasons? I do not know, do not need to know or care enough to anymore.

Any suggestions I make that I apparently am "throwing a tantrum" over, are completely based on my companion's feedback who only points and clicks and nothing more. She is a convenience-based human being and gives feedback regularly because I am skinning so it is not a skinner's request you denied Jorge. It was an end-user and to say nobody else wants it... well maybe I should have treated you the same way, but that is not who I am.
I thought by now having said this more than once, perhaps it may have sunk in. This is why with nearly every request I have said something like: "It doesn't bother me I am used to it". Look up every thread and email, it is not like I have only said it once. But that is not the reason.

It doesn't matter who that request originated from, you, or your partner. What I said stands, I did not find it a suggestion worth implementing (unlike your other suggestion about the disk meter orientation being saved between themes, which I did implement) and I stand by what I wrote and already explained.

There is nothing personal in this decision and you seem to be taking it personally.
