I'm not sure if this is possible, but I would like to be able to drag files and drop them into a folder on a dock (in this case the recycle bin), however every time I try to do this, the program just wants to add the file to the dock. I can find no setting to change this and no documentation suggesting it is possible. I would just like a definitive answer.

Thanks. :D

Check your settings. Not sure what is happening there, because dropping files into folder should always work even if the dock itself is locked.

Also, the Recycler in a dock is NOT a folder, it's a module/widget. Right click on it, the context menu should say 'Recycler Settings'.

Anyway, I just tested it here and drag & drop into folders *and* into the Recycle Bin module seem to be working as intended. Dropping a file - or a dock item - into the recycle bin module deletes it.

What file are you trying to drop into the Recycler? Have you tried it with another file? Have you tried adding an actual folder to the dock and seeing if you can drag & drop files into it?

Thanks for your reply! I tested a folder and it worked fine. Then I checked the Recycler and found that I had used "internal command" "Recycle Bin" instead of "Recycler". After correcting this it wokrs fine.

Thanks again! :D
