Type Regular you can just sort them "by hand" using drag & drop.

I am too lazy.

The attached python script exports
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WinSTEP2000\NeXuS\TABS as a backup
and lists all Tabs. Choose the one you want to sort and an ordered reg is generated.

To use the sorted regfile delete the key in registry (you have a backup) and double klick the sort regfile to import.

Works for me. Do with the script whatever you want.

You are too lazy to sort them manually (and like with the items in a dock you only need to do it once, after that you just need to mind where you insert new items) but not too lazy to create a script that does it for you? :D

I haven't looked at the script (yet). Anyone downloading and running it does so at their own risk.

Directly changing settings in the registry also bypasses all GUI safeguards.
