Hi, I'm fairly new to the Nexus Dock, but I seem to have an issue with Skype. Whenever I chat to someone on Skype, and the dock goes away, it pops back up whenever somebody replies via chat if I'm on another window. Is there any way to stop this behavior? As in make it so that the dock doesn't pop up whenever somebody replies to me on Skype?

If dock uses auto-hide, it's made to pop up whenever a window requests attention. That happens with most messaging software (Live messenger, Yahoo, Trillian, skype too) and with any other software.
I actually like this feature...

BTW, I'd suggest to make is so the dock pops up even when not using auto-hide. I'm using it normally with "same as other windows" Z-order, and it does nothing when a window requests attention...

Is there a way to keep the auto-hide and make it so that it doesn't pop up whenever a window needs my attention? I understand that this feature is helpful, but when I'm watching a video it is fairly annoying.

When you're watching a video you should be watching it in full-screen, right? Well, nexus is made to don't appear while a full-screen application is running, not even if something requests attention.
Are you sure you're not watching in a maximized window instead of a full-screen?

I do watch in a maximized screen because I don't like full screen.

You're the first person (and I think the last one too) that likes watching videos in maximized window instead of full-screen...
Anyway, no, actually there's no way to disable it. It might implemented as an optional setting, but I see no point for doing so as you're the only one asking for it... Although, I'm not going to take any decision, this is up to Jorge.
