I currently use a Winstep Xtreme dock that holds my running applications instead of using the Win 7 taskbar or even the Nextstart taskbar. The problem I have is that when I mouse over an application in the dock the text that appears is coming back as question marks instead of special characters, such as Japanese characters. My assumption, which may be incorrect, is that whatever font is being used to display the text is not a unicode font. The question I have is there a way to make those characters display properly?

Localization issues are always difficult to solve because Winstep applications are developed on a programming language that only supports ANSI, so it must rely on code page tricks to display the proper characters.

Do Japanese characters appear properly in other places of the application (Preferences, etc...)?

Also, you can change the font of the dock labels (Right click the dock's Nexus icon -> Dock Properties -> Appearance-> Select Label Font), have you tried that already?

I tried that, however it didn't work. In reality its not that big of a deal. Thank you again for all of the product support.
