Hi Gio

I don't speak Italian OR Spanish for that matter, so I hope I didn't say anything offensive to an Italian!! If so, none was intended and the "suegra" was for Jorge. According to Google Translate, suegra is Spanish for mother-in-law. That's how I used sign my e-mails/posts to Jorge, so I put that in to remind him who I am, which he has probably forgotten long ago. (It started with my daughter-in-law's trouble with getting her Winstep registration key to work.)

I misunderstood then, no problem. Actually I apologize for thinking it was some sort of negative thing towards me. Thanks for clarifying that up! - it happens to me sometimes as well, the fact that I don't "say" what I "mean", as English is not my mother tongue, obviously - so I totally understand that :-)

Ah. I actually didn't get that either, sorry, since I'm Portuguese and not Spanish. :P There, I bet you feel bad now, eheh. Don't. :wink:

Anyway, Portuguese for mother-in-law is 'Sogra'. Not that different, but since I was expecting it I just decided to say nothing and wait for some clarification. Clever me. :D

Hey, Jorge - I don't speak Italian or Spanish, but I DO speak Portuguese, so now I can insult you in your own language if necessary. :D (I lived in Angola for 5 years.)

How long does it normally take to get a key? I know the sales receipt says up to 48 hours.

I've only been using the demo for a week, but for some reason my Windows 7 rebooted and the date went back to Jan 1 2008 (only realised when I couldn't get into websites because it was saying the security certificate was invalid), so I changed to correct date now my Nextstart says it's been used too much and I have to exit out before I can load any programmes.

Paid for the full Winstep last night and keen to get my system working properly with it again.

if your comps date rolled back to 2008 check you bios. i'm will to bet something happen to reset it.

well it's about 48 hours since I paid and I've not heard a word about a licence key.

Should I wait or ask for my money back?

I don't know why you can't get an instant download like other companies do. I paid for WindowBlinds this week and was taken straight to a page to download it with a licence key as soon as the payment as processed.

Just to make sure, check your spam folder. If you've checked and there's nothing there, hopefully Jorge will send it very soon.

BTW, I hope your system is up and running again permanently. A piece of advice to everyone about their license key. I recommend making a folder in your e-mail account and place it there. This way if something should happen like your e-mail getting deleted it should be protected.

This happened to me, not losing my license key, but deleted e-mails. Some time ago I used a then new e-mail client. The problem was that the default setting downloaded all of my e-mails from the server WITHOUT LEAVING A COPY and then deleted them after a few days. I had hundreds of e-mails that had to be resent and didn't know it would delete them automatically so I lost hundreds of my e-mails. i contacted my e-mail provider and they could only restore the last 24 hrs worth of e-mails.

Fortunately, the ultra-important stuff was in folders and were saved, but some important e-mails and not-that-important ones were lost forever.

I also have no key and have waited 39 hours now. Left Jorge a PM.
Am hoping to get an email or PM soon.

I checked spam and junk folders,
I havent deleted any emails,
there is nothing wrong with the mailbox
and the order has been processed by Paypal
about 30 seconds after I clicked confirm

I just purchased a key also so hopefully they send it soon. Can the free version be upgraded to ultimate or is it a full uninstall/reinstall?

Instructions are on the email with the license key.

In the case of Winstep Xtreme, there is nothing you need to do other than register the application. For Nexus -> Nexus Ultimate, the email has a link with the download URL for Nexus Ultimate and all you need to do is install Nexus Ultimate *on top* of the free version of Nexus and then register it using the supplied license key.
