all the dooms day idiots are going to have egg on their faces once again. the mayan calendar was simply the end of that calendar cycle, or they just ran out of space to finish it, or it refers to the end of the republican party finally.

Still waiting for a virtual desktop thing ;-)
Having that is the only thing stopping me from doing 64 bit as SD's VDM is 32 bit only and I really cannot live without it.
I'll ante up for it I swear Jorge !

a virtual desktop manager integrated in WinStep ...
That would give us the ability to switch desktops from NeXuS maybe? Or from within a special tab within the workshelf? Icons may display a miniature of the desktops?
How does that affect the tasklists (NeXuS, WorkShelf, ...)? Would there be an option to display all tasks vs. this desktop only?
Would this allow different docks for each desktop? Will there be an option to have a certain dock on all desktops? How about the workshelf?
Will dock buttons with running applications switch to the correct desktop and activate the application or will they start another instance on the current desktop?
Will modules be sticky (visible on all desktoops) or not? How about a pager module displaying miniviews of the configured desktop?
Will there be different wallpapers for each desktop? Probably for each monitor on each desktop?

How would that affect WinStep's postition on the market? Would that make it more outstanding than it already is?

Lots of questions and only one person to give authoritative answer

Now that you are back, Jorge...

Can we get a new feature when:

If you click on the shortcut for an app (say, google chrome) AND you have "only one instance" enabled, AND the app is already open and active, THEN the app will minimize instead.

Should be the same behaviour as click the app icon in the task tray, swap between minimize and maximize.

Thanks!

a good idea brought up here

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4735

any chance when you finally make it possible for us to use multiple shelves also making it where we can have subshelves on both workshelf and nexus?

what I'd like to see is the ability to group system tray icons in a sub dock.

More as I think of them,

You can already do that, as far as I know. Sub-docks inherit the settings of the parent dock, so just set the parent dock to group system tray icons. :P

If, on the other hand, you mean showing the system tray on a sub-dock (whether in grouped mode or not) then you can do that too: create a new empty sub-dock, open it, right click on it, select 'Insert New Dock Item' then 'Show System tray in this dock'.

Isn't that what you wanted?

No it is the invert, i have a shelf with all my favorites folders and "want" just simple click show menu (this is ok got it) but now a long click open path in explorer i think it will increase reliability and manipulation like copy/paste and more...

I think I know what you mean.

I too have a shelf full of frequently used folders. I hold left click and a menu opens, then I navigate on that menu through various subfolders, when I find the folder I want and I want to open it as a window, I just double click the folder icon beside the name and the folder appears.. Perfectly.

Is that what you wanted?

One thing I thought I'd add to the wish list.

On the screen capture module, could you add a setting that would allow a variable delay before doing the capture? When I do screencaps of full screen apps, It would be nice if I could have a couple of seconds to move the mouse away form the dock containing the screencap button so that the docks hide and are not included in the capture.

Thank you..

I'd like an internal command option to Lock the Workstation under Windows 7.
