This one is Modular like the theme I did "TRAINS" - you move them onto relative parts of the transit air freeway - Some work better than others

- Last newbie for a while. Am yet to make some final decisions... I still am going to try removing the Network Gauges and have vertical multi's on the sides of the Holograph... Graphically I will have to make them look like they are part of the Holograph which is not as simple as it sounds... anyway... if it works all good... if not que sera

While I certainly have done all the disk Monitors for every theme and that was no small task, this one I'd like to try and keep the backplate but I am not sure I can. The Holograph simulation placeholder for the DD's may need to become section only. Fortunately, i have one machine with a lot of drives so that will undeniably tell me whether it will work or fail.

I must be getting old...I am tired...

One I didn't put up... there's a lot actually. I'll make another zip for the disks not in the first batch. There's a white led for each drive to left of each graph too that is invisible until it is active. Graph data moves right to left. I should probably switch it.

This one is truly a full monitor. Gauge, Multi, LED's, Graph, Read, Write, Temp, %left/%Free. Clicking on it or show only icon gives the remainder.
The gauge is working nicely too. With the floating point change I anticipate even better :)

" DOJO "
While any Dojo Master or in China SIFU will let any student from another Martial Art in, they generally avoid letting other schools train in the same space at the same time.

In context with the theme, I could have spent an entire theme on each of the better known Martial arts but instead, I chose to pay homage to many.
In here I have roughly covered:
Ninjutsu
Wing Chun
Chao Ga
Tai Chi
Kenpo
Tae Kwon Do
Karate / Hapkido
Shaolin Temple
Thai Bo
Phillipino Stick fighting
Jiu Jitsu & Luta Livre & Monkey style
Wooden dummy training
Jeet Kune Do

wasn't happy with ring drive so redid it.
I like it now. Different to the others and right for the theme.

No none of them are photos, look closely and no that is not a real Bruce Lee, it's an artistic mockup of him (Jeet Kune Do). he was actually skinnier.

I will be updating all my themes sometime soon and re-uploading with disk drives.
I also have changed a few things in several themes. I won't say something dumb like I got better but I definitely became more creative and theme-centered. One example is even in this though tiny, being a new Wanda.
One sample... not putting anymore up until done and only samples. They will be in the Winstep Gallery after next week.
Cheers

@BassdudeNZ - At some viewing angles this latest Black Satin's Wallpaper seems to develop a distinct green colour cast...

No big deal but it looks quite cool even though this image does not show it..
- The LED on the disks I made larger than normal and when there is activity, it flashes like lightning. As mentioned the image does not show it on the disks in this image and you can see the circular outline in it, which you can hardly see when flashing, but it does as I said. :) Illusion, but one in context.

"What is a Theme?"

According to the Oxford dictionary:

"A theme is the central, dominant, or unifying idea in a text, piece of writing, or work of art. It serves as the main subject around which the content revolves, often expressed through various characters and events".

Each skinner has their own motifs, modus operandi or concept for what they do. For me, I look at Winstep as a desktop platform that facilitates me not just being creative, but telling some kind of story, should the desire arise. :)
Cheers

You are correct.
I found with Black being the absence of color, there had to be color in it.
Somehow, "Black with a tinge of teal-green" doesn't seem to have the same effect when I say it.

Free image compressor.

When skinning, the PNG32's have to be compressed before uploading.

If you are sick of doing it all online, this is a desktop application that does entire directories and all subfolders containing images in one pass without going online.

customizable choices and zero quality loss that is noticeable.
I use it, I got sick of how much time it took online. This is incredibly quick for what it does.
The open source free link is at the bottom of the page.
