is there a guide to create modules ? also is there a way to have multiple desktops ? like 3-4 workspaces ? |

Not worth re-inventing the wheel. Otherwise there are excellent third party applications that excel at that kind of stuff: Dexpot comes to mind, for instance. I heard a lot of good things about it. |

Windows 10 does, but you apparently have to click Task View to make it work, which isn't visible if you have the windows start bar hidden by NS. I'll look at Dexpot. |

That's only because you installed Windows 10 over a previous version of Windows with Xtreme already running too. When you install Xtreme on a Windows 10 machine you get a couple of Quick Launch icons specific to Windows 10.Look for the 'Task View' internal command and add that to your Quick Launch area. |

Jorge, maybe I'm missing something, but using Dexpot, I have to copy the NS Tasklist to each desktop to get it to show up. Is there a way to get it to automatically show up on all desktops? Same thing with WS Clock. And maybe the systray portion of the taskbar? |

My silence means I somehow missed your post. Look, problem is that even though I heard great things about Dexpot, I'm not familiar with it. I assume you're using a tasklist detached from the NextSTART taskbar? And by WsClock you mean the Desktop Clock module right? What about it? Doesn't Dexpot have an option to automatically move some windows to new desktops? |

In my feeble mind, the system would know there are multiple desktops and report that to programs, but I could be completely wrong about that. What I was hoping for was to be able to have the tasklist and taskbar show up on all desktops automatically, as well as the clock module. I currently have to tell Dexpot to copy the tasklist (which also copies the taskbar because I don't have them detached from each other) and the clock module to each desktop any time I reboot. Which I try to avoid, but occasionally have to do. Especially since it's winter and we lose power during pretty much every storm. |

Paul, the problem is that I don't know how Dexpot works. Plus, you might want it to work like that, but other people might not. And by the way: have you thought about getting an UPS? Besides providing battery backup power, it would protect your system from power surges and would allow you to enjoy the Winstep Battery module.
