HEY!

I´ve been testing Winstep for many hours on different computers.

Unfortunately I have found a bug with windows 10´s snapping feature with Winstep Nexus:

1. Move a windows (chrome, explorer,...) to the left or right edge of the monitor to snap it to the half size of the monitor.
2. minimize this program
3. activate the same program by clicking on the icon in Nexus
4. now the restored size of this window is as it was UNSNAPPED!

Minimize - restore by using Windows Taskbar works fine (of course) and also Rocketdock does it correct.

Windows has always had its own rezizing override any application. If it did not it would not be the Operating system. An exceptional programmer can override the Operating system. In the case of Windows, I am actually totally impressed that Jorge can get windows to play second fiddle.
I know it is not what you wanted to hear. I am sure Jorge can answer why. there might be a setting in Winstep that you select to fix this. I believe he is working on another update.

I have a genius friend that programs in pure assembly and can look at a printout of 0's and 1's and tell you exactly what the computer is doing. I thought he was joking when he asked what a computer virus does. It takes control of and takes over your whole computer was basically what i replied. he said: "Right. Welcome to Microsoft Windows, one very big Virus".

A fix would be great, because Winstep is imho the best program in this category. But as long as you have to use the windows taskbar it´s half worth.
