Post subject:  nexus not honoring windows font scaling

I have a GTX 960 with a 4k monitor which is set to 200% font size (scaling?) in Windows 10 settings so the interface isn't for ants. When I set my power options to turn the monitor off, or turn it off manually, when the screen comes back on the toolbar has shrunk to half size because it hasn't re-scaled for the increased font size. I believe this is because the font size is not re-applied until a few moments after the screen comes on, so Nexus sees the 100% size and doesn't update once the font size has changed. I would imagine this could also be reproduced by simply altering your size/scaling once Nexus is already running. It seems to only check this on a restart of the app.

What version of Nexus are you running?

Anyway, font scaling does NOT affect the size of the dock/bar (although it does affect the size of the UI). To increase the size of the dock you increase the icon size.

What you mentioned makes me think you might be running an older version of Nexus, one that was not yet high-DPI compatible. Please check your version number in the top right corner of the About tab in Preferences. Latest official release is v16.9.

In those older versions Windows would indeed automatically scale *everything* up, including the dock (would make it all look 'fuzzy' in the process too) but this automatic process in Windows is riddled with bugs (especially in Windows 10, like what you experienced).
