| Post subject: | Tasklist takes 1-2 seconds to udpate or populate itself? |
When the tasklist pops up, either from my hotspot or from the default menu, it contains every program/window it contained last time it updated. But it does not have the *new* applications/windows that have opened since last time it popped up, and it also contains the items which were closed since the last time I viewed the tasklist menu. After 1-2 seconds (and this machine is fast, P4 2.8 HT w/ 2 GB DDR400 memory) then the tasks are listed. This happens even if only one or two tasks are different, and it is the same even when I test opening, say, 30 Internet Explorer windows. Is there some super-secret setting I can use to speed this up? |

NextSTART v3.4 fixes this: the tasklist menu immediately shows the current running tasks. |
