Hi there, it is a while since my last visit here and I am getting old. So old in fact that I can't seem to find the obvious.

I only want to create a simple tabbed dock/shelf on top. However, ever new dock I create is a simple dock and I am not able to find out how to add a tab to it. (I don't like the subdock option too much).

I am also not able to duplicate the original shelf, as this is greyed out for me.

Is there really no such option or is dementia setting in? Have I asked this question before already? :?:

Currently you can only have one Shelf (although multiple Shelves is on the to-do list).

If you can't see the 'original' Shelf, open Preferences, go to the Docks & Shelves tab and enable the 'Enabled' setting for the Shelf.

Hi Jorge,

I didn't want multiple shelves, just one. Does that mean that I can only modify the one that you created? I wanted to keep that one as a "see how it is done" backup.

Yes. If you want just make a backup of the settings (Preferences -> Advanced -> Backup) before you start modifying it.
