Post subject:  Date format on System Tray ? +
How do I make NextSTART respect the system settings for formatting the date, when it is displayed in the System Tray ?

The little popup shows the date correctly formatted - but not the main date displayed on the tray itself.

I was expecting to see the date displayed as "Wed 9 Aug"

The tray button shows the date using the system's current DATE_SHORTDATE format. The tooltip shows the long date.

I have set the system short date, as seen here:

Checked this option for the date to appear in the NextStart controlled systray:

yet I`m still seeing the date in the unaltered format in the systray:

Am I correct in thinking I should see "Mon 21 Aug" in the systray with these settings ?

(win 7)

Additionally, it is working as expected on the Windows own systray area:

So I do not understand why NextStart is formatting the date in a different way :?
