1. This may be a refresh issue. I am using Windows 10, and a 15 inch laptop (2017), 32GB ram. Sometime about 6 months ago, the System Tray started dropping the display of Icons after putting the computer in sleep mode and waking it up, and after the screen display turns off from inactivity. Upon waking, the Quick Launch Area and the Clock is visible. Everything else (everything in the tasklist area, wireless and mixer icons in the System Tray area are missing). They return when I collapse and then restore the taskbar.

2. There is also a long-standing issue with the Wireless and Mixer launches. Sometimes (sporadic) clicking on either does not launch the list of available wireless connsections or the sound volume box. Sometimes it looks like it may have opened in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, but only barely showing with no way to bring them up. This has persisted across machines.

1. Do you have the taskbar set to 'Always on Top'?

2. This should have been fixed in the next release.

3. Is you laptop a Surface Pro?

Sorry for the delay. I don't get here often, and the issue is more of an annoyance than a major problem.

The wireless mixer problem has been fixed with the latest release.

The problem of the disappearing information in the system tray icons to the lower right continues, though. Again, just a minor irritation, as the clock, wireless pif, battery pif etc. reappear when I collapse and then expand the ribbon. I was using the theme DarkTech, and have switches to Windows 7 extreme, and I will see if it persists under a different theme.

I have another problem, and will open a new post on it.

I have noticed that if Explorer crashes (which MS doesn't make a big deal about, like they don't want you to notice it crashed), when it restarts itself the systray icons are gone. See if that might be happening to you. For me, the only way to get them back is to restart NS.
