Is there any way to select several modules on the screen and align them left, right, top, or bottom; not to a screen edge but a selected alignment. E.G. align the other modules with this one. Similar to aligning objects in MS Powerpoint?

No because desktop modules are free form objects, not meant to be aligned together.

This said, you can always use the arrow keys to move/align them with pixel precision.

Actually, some sort of 'stick to when within n pixels' facility would be way cool, ideally also with the option of leaving a gap of n pixels. The very point I was going to raise elsewhere myself! I'm sure a lot of people would find it useful. :)

Grrrr... I already explained why I don't want to implement that (although it has been implemented for NextSTART hotspot buttons where it actually makes sense, by the way): because I do NOT want to encourage in any way, shape, or form, skinners making desktop modules that are dependent on each other (like a jigsaw puzzle).

This is not HVD. :-P

I also want desktop modules to remain free form. Add something like that and the temptation (already strong as it is) is to make them all square or rectangular.

LOL! Thank goodness it isn't. Ahem.... :) Yeah, I get your point Jorge, and I don't think it's a biggy really, and besides, there are much more important things to attend to I'm sure.

And, would love to do some circular and irregular mods - once we have a Theme Builder again.
