Following the latest update (v18.5) I added the Task Manager internal control. However, when I click on it nothing opens. I have tried several times too. Just to make sure it wasn't Windows at fault, I also tried Ctrl/Shift/Esc and that works fine.

Do I have to modify something in the Dock Entry Properties?

Works fine here too. What version of Windows are you running?

Win 10 Pro

Ok, can confirm.

Strange, didn't do anything that could cause it to stop working, and it works fine on Windows 7. I also see no reason for it not to work. If I had to guess, I would point the finger at the new update of Windows 10.

Anyway, you can always add a program item 'taskmgr.exe'.

The program item solution worked to perfection!
Yes, the enormous Win 10 update last Sunday was likely the reason for this issue.

Thanks for solving the problem for me. :)

In the mean time I tested in the IDE on a Windows 10 VM. The Shell command returns an error when you attempt to make it run 'taskmgr.exe', but launching the exact same command via ShellExecuteEx works fine.

So yeah, Windows 10. Fixed for next release anyway by working around it.
