Is it possible to have nexus dock set so that it's *not* on auto hide after a delay, it does hide for maximised apps, but still triggers within maximised apps if you bump it?

Unless I'm seriously missing something, this is only possible when the dock is set to be 'Always On Top'. In which case, you can go to Dock Properties -> Behaviour Tab, and select 'Auto-hide for maximised applications when always on top' under Auto-Hide.

As Ric said. Be aware, however, that a bug in v18.5 causes the dock NOT to re-appear automatically when you close, restore or minimize the maximized application. This bug has obviously been fixed in the next release.

Another known issue in v18.5 is when you delete an item in the Shelf and it plays the collapse animation while the delete animation is still playing, causing it to appear collapsed when it really isn't. Again, this has also been fixed in the next release.
