Hey there, since a few weeks I have no animations anymore, only if I launch an application, then the icons do an animation. However, the hide and show animation does not show up. Is there any fix for this? (I've enabled all animations and I do use the newest version of Windows 10 and NexusDock) |

Preferences -> General tab -> Disable all animations Is that setting checked? Also, what speed are animations set to? |

Ok, something else for you to check: Preferences -> Advanced tab -> Power Saving Settings What is your current Power saving mode and settings? If any of the two power saving modes is engaged, animations such as those will automatically become disabled to save power. |

Ok, hold on, when you say 'show and hide' animations you mean the slide animation that should happen when your dock hides into the screen edge or pops up from it, right? If so, I am quickly running out of ideas, since we already went through all the settings that could have an effect on that animation. One more thing: in Preferences -> Position, is the dock actually *docked* to the screen edge? Because if not then it is a 'floating' dock and it will collapse into a single control icon instead. Anyway, what exactly is happening there? Try to be as descriptive as possible. Is the dock auto-hiding properly despite not playing the hide animation? Do you hear the hide and pop up sounds? What dock theme are you using? Have you tried a different theme? |

Thanks for your quick reply's I've made a short video on how it looks right now with all settings etc. Maby this helps out a bit more than just a few screenshots |

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a thousand pictures. So thanks for the video. I actually thought you were running the free version of Nexus, but I see you are running Nexus Ultimate. Anyway, doesn't matter, I think I see what is going on. You do NOT have the dock set to auto-hide. As such, when you open the maximized window, the dock simply goes *behind* that window. When you bump the screen edge, the dock is brought to the foreground (i.e.; above the maximized window), but since it was never hidden in the first place, it does not play the pop up animation. Hope my explanation is clear enough, if I understood correctly what is happening there. |
