I take it none of the errors happen if you exit and restart Xtreme by hand multiple times?

Exactly. Only happens on shutdown/logoff/restart for the "white"one.
Tbe "black" ones apear on normal operation and sometimes right after manualy restarting workshelf.

Did you try temporarily disabling WB already?

Do you have a backup with older (pre-Grid Stacks, etc) WorkShelf settings you could try to see if this is settings related?

Finally, when did the crashes start happening?

1. Icon color bug:
As far as I can tell, icon colorization works well, except for one case: animated icons, in this situation when you mouse over and the animation starts to play, the normal icon is rendered (I guess it does not takes into account the next frames). Although the effect in itself is cool (having a monochromatic or b/w icon turning full color on mouse over) it is not consistent (the other icons just play the effect associated with the mouse over).

Fixed this one.

2. Also, it seems that the dock transparency (did not tested on shelfs and drawers) it is not working correctly with Vivaldi and Edge browsers: even if set to opaque, although it stays opaque against the desktop background (animated background), when you call it to pop in front of the named browser, it is not 100% opaque (you can see the browser ui elements or the web page behind it). It seems to be ok for Opera,Firefox,Chrome and even IE. Don`t know about other apps, apart from Directory Opus that is also ok.

That would be either a video driver issue or DX issue. Nothing to do with the Winstep application itself.

3. Playing with dock transparency and blur settings for the dock (don`t have a 3d party Aero Glass installed) just to see if it has any effect on the transparency (namely to make the dock opaque when the said browsers are behind) I got this error, that forced me to restart workshelf.

Can't reproduce this on a Windows 10 VM. I just get the expected (i.e.; solid background where blur should be).

Steps to reproduce?

Just added a new option:

"Do not flip icon row order when the shelf is docked at the top of the screen"

You owe me one lol. Especially because I'm making it better than it was.

Well, that was a LOT OF WORK, just as I knew it would be. Sigh.

At least I improved on it and even caught a couple of minor bugs.

New beta is out, click 'Check for Updates'.

Because I had to do some changes to support the new Quick Search Bar on regular tab types, it's a good idea to make a backup before starting to change content on Regular tabs.

But please do so and test it while the filter is active, etc... also made some improvements to icon shifting when inserting items in the Shelf.

Please let me know what you think of the changes. Some of the new settings can be found in Shelf Properties -> Behavior Tab -> More Options.

Full list of changes: About tab of Preferences -> click version number at the top right -> View Change Log. Start view from bottom of the list since the changelog includes changes made in the previous beta.

New one installed.

If I set the workshelf "always on top" each sub grid stack will open behind it.

Once set to normal they open at the top of the z order.

Also, in the new version the grid stacks have the tendency to stay open when I open another or a sub stack and I click outside in the screen.

Also, for some reason they reverted back to normal theme even if my main theme is colorized. I'm assuming there is a new way to theme them?

This one shows stacks over stacks and stacks refusing to close unless I click again in the gridstack main icon.

Firstly being through the power option Icons in control panel in a shelf are not displaying properly we have still the “?”Icon. I also see them in “Sacco_Belmonte”’s videos to.

The quick search remains after closing the shelf. What I mean is when reopened the search is still there, I search for something find it the search reappears next time to. By design? Awful design.

Caught on video You have a feature with the quick search, not sure what the messages mean but. Its repeatable to.

Also not from the video the text displaying in the bottom left, of the video.

My "?" icons are all from an external drive. No problems in that regard here.

So you have no problems with a shelf and displaying the power options/icons

You mean like power plan icons? I don't have any of that in my dock.
