Hi again :D
I would like to see if I can get the shelf setup....
At the moment I have the drawers at the left side of the screen with Games, Programs, Office, Internet, and System....not added everything yet...
Want to have something similar on the shelf at the bottom of the screen like it was when you have it set at default...
I like the look of you screen shot:

Not sure what you are really asking for. :D

That is a screenshot of the Shelf caught mid-scrolling, with the default (on Windows 10) DarkTech theme applied.

That screenshot was made with intention of showing off the new (at the time) smooth scrolling feature.

Hi again :D
You are not sure.....lol I am not sure either....
OK now I see what you mean with the screen shot.....

Now the drawers I have at the left side of the screen...can I have them as tabs with the same info on the shelf?

That would make the shelf as you say fantastic....

At the moment I have from the dock a dockuments icon that has a subdock and all my necessary docs that I have had in a stack showing horizontally. That isn't the optimal solution because the docs have text on mouse over...not seen how to change that for subdock....and takes a lot of room up...

On objectdock I had them as a fan as shown here:

Now I would be quite happy to have my regualar docs connected to a tab on the shelf...if that is possible?

They are, and of course you can. If you right click on the little settings icon in the Drawer's tab, you'll see a 'Dock and Shelf Management' entry in the context menu that pops up. Open this sub-menu and you will see a 'Make Shelf tab from the Drawer'.

Selecting this option will create a new tab, holding the same contents as the Drawer, in the Shelf you select.

Of course. Docks are great for dealing with a small amount of icons. When dealing with a large amount of files, the Shelf is much better suited.

Furthermore the Shelf supports many different types of tabs, which you can add to the Shelf. You have the Regular tab, for instance, which acts pretty much like docks do (i.e.; you can drag & drop your own items there) but you also have the 'Show Folder' tab type which creates a tab showing the contents of a folder in your hard drive. You can drag & drop files to and from this 'Show Folder' tab type too.

Hi again!
Just a thought....
When for example adding docs with long titles....can you shorten them so they only show part of the title until mouse over....?

In the dock? And by 'only show until mouse over' you mean only show the complete title in the *balloon tooltip* ?

Hi again!
Now you are asking....lol
I think it is what I mean on the fan of my docs it only shows part of the title and then ...
Just saves for very long titles taking up space....

I wondered also about icons on drawers and shelf....are they locked as standard....? Would like to rearrange them in different order....

That's basically how labels in the Shelf operate... you specify how many lines of text you want to display/reserve for description and the Shelf will automatically crop the text if it doesn't fit the available space. You can then see the full text on mouseover in the ballon tooltip that pops up.

You should try experimenting before asking these type of questions. :)

Depends on the tag type. It is CRITICAL that you understand what 'different tab types' means.

If it is a Regular tab type, then you can re-arrange your icons at will. If it is a folder tab type, you can only specify the order in which files are shown (name, size, date, etc...). Some tabs cannot have the contents re-arranged at all (for instance, a Control Panel tab type which shows the contents of the Windows Control Panel).

Likewise, some tab types support drag & drop (Regular, Show Folder, Desktop tab types) other tab types do not (e.g.; Control Panel tab again, in much the same way you cannot drop files into the Windows Control Panel dialog).

Hi again :D
Lots of experimenting here...
I have added a new tab system tray....
When I look at the icons that the system tray on the shelf is using...not clear crisp icons...
Do I need to replace the ones on the shelf?

Hi again!
I have fixed most system tray icons with the help of the icons you provided....
But I haven't seen one for the nexus ultimate system tray icon?

Set the icon path of the Nexus Ultimate tray icon to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Winstep\nexus-ultimate.exe
