Does the Nexus backup settings also save the contents of the dock itself? In other words, the various icons and their positions are saved and can be later reloaded to restore the dock to what it was at the backup. |

Yes Everything is covered when I did Xtream from winstep the only thing that was not covered was the wallpaper. HIH |

Yes. Well, depends on what you mean by "the various icons" - if you mean the external PNG and ICO image files you used to customize icons in the dock, then no, those image files must be backed up separately. Same for your dock themes/skins and theme configuration files. It will save whatever is inside the dock, though, so if you backup the dock, then add and remove items, change themes and settings, etc, when you restore it will undo all those changes and revert to *exactly* what it was before. |
