Dock[s]: since the update at hover over an item [icon] the description text now is horrifically ugly: bright yellow [bold] on a black background. Not only ugly but hard to read. I have winstep since many years and am familiar with every modification/customization possible - but this one has me at a loss. Even importing a saved file did not change this one. I changed the font to just white, no bold, no yellow no black background - I very much hat this now. Plus I have a second dock [both my docks are stationary [one on top and one on the left of my screen]this one also ignores my choice of "not to bounce when opening]. I don't understand why this is so complicated now. Appreciate a resolve. I would not have updated if I this is a common problem now. I was just fine with my old version. Hope to have an answer soon for this. |

What version were you running previously? Nexus Ultimate or Winstep Xtreme? Also, can you please post a screenshot showing the bright yellow label text on a black background (press the PRTSCR key to capture a screenshot of your desktop to your clipboard if you find it difficult, then open a paint program, paste the image in the clipboard to it and save it as JPG)? Anyway, from what I understood by reading your older posts, the version you were running previously was VERY OLD, i.e.; dating back to 2012? There have been literally hundreds of changes and additions made to Winstep applications since then - this is what you get for not keeping up-to-date: feature shock. |

I always used Ultimate. The countless updates - I get. But it actually asked me to "fresh install. That is what I then wound up doing and using the new key. And 2012 is not correct it was actually 2014. Does not make much difference - fact is it was way outdated. I was on hiatus due to several heart attacks, and had zero use for a computer during this entire time. I am back now, and paid. Upgraded. It still should be able to respect the font at least. Nowhere do I ever have "bold" enabled, not in the theme or the custom areas, preferences etc. All I need is just a proper suggestion what to do. |
