How can I stretch the dock bar, to the width/ or hight of the monitor?
(Like Nextstart)

Short answer is: you can't.

That is not how docks work - they only stretch as needed in order to accommodate more icons.

Long answer is, you can achieve expanding the dock in two ways - a), by filling it up with more icons, or b), by increasing the icon size but this of course will also widen the dock.

Whether either method will yield an edge to edge dock depends on too many different factors to answer easily.

That would work if you are not showing the systray or running applications in the dock, but it's kind of a PITA. :)

Make two docks. One for launchers/running apps and position it to the left. Make a second and enable only the system tray and position it to the right.
