A blue bar covering chrome tabs shows up at random on my computer when winstep is running. The problem goes away when I stop the program.
OS is windows 10, with the following software versions:

workshelf 18.12.1475
WSUpdate 18.11.0195
Winstep 18.11.0117
WsxService 18.06.0096
WsxMMTimer 1.00.0008

Please see the attached screenshot

Any idea how to fix this?

Hmmm... try adding Chrome to the Thumbnail Exclusion List:

1. Open WorkShelf Preferences
2. Go to the Tasks tab.
3. Click the Advanced button.
4. Click Thumbnail Exclusion List button.
5. Click Add.
6. If Chrome is running, select it from the panel on the left, otherwise type in "chrome.exe" (without the quotes).
7. Press OK on all the dialogs.

Couple of observations though:

1. I also run Windows 10 and I don't have that problem with Chrome.

2. That blue bar is a Windows 7 titlebar, not a Windows 10 titlebar.

Not necessarily so weird. While I can't speak for Chrome - as wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, too insecure and don't trust the big 'G' ;) - some apps will continue to display a Win 7 title bar etc. under Win 10. Have several here that do.
