Hi! :)

What Winstep application are you running? Free version of Nexus, Nexus Ultimate, Winstep Xtreme?

We don't all have perfect 20/20 vision, you're not alone. Not even all young/er people have it. :)

Go to either of the two mini-tab icons on the shelf, right-click and select preferences. A configuration panel will appear on your desktop. Go to the tab marked 'Modules', then top left drop-down selector select 'Clock'. On the right, you now see a digital and an analogue clock. Select the digital clock, then select 'Clock Settings', and a further sub-panel opens. Near the bottom left of this is a setting 'Show Time Only' - select this. Click 'OK', then on the main panel, click 'Apply' and 'OK'. You should now have a digital clock on your shelf and/or dock.

Unfortunately, its font with its LED matrix is far from optimal, and there is nothing that can be done about it, unless and until Jorge changes that, although you could try experimenting changing its colour. Also, a larger icon size helps. You should have dock and shelf icons set at at least 48 pixels and you might even wish to try larger sizes still, like 64 or 96 pixels.

Where the desktop clock is concerned, I'm afraid you're stuck with what the creator of the theme has provided - usually, an analogue clock only, rarely a digital one and often fairly small.

HTH. :)

Actually this hasn't been true for a while now - you can force a desktop module to assume the look of the iconic format. To do this, right click on the *desktop* module, open the Theme sub-menu and select (None).

You can then play with the desktop module's scaling setting to increase or decrease its size.

Oops, I stand corrected - thanks Jorge. :) Didn't know about that one.
