taskbar flickering after resume from sleep mode

Hello
I am running windows 10 with a dual monitor setup.when my pc resumes from sleep mode the taskbar will be flickering at the bottom edge. any windows I left open will be rolled up. have to restart explorer to fix it. this started after a windows update. see attached photo.

any ideas ?

What Windows version? If Windows 10, are you in the Insider program?

What Winstep application? Nexus free, Nexus Ultimate, Winstep Xtreme?

had to resize it before it would upload..
its windows 10 build 1809
I am not in that program.

What version of Winstep Xtreme are you running?

Also, does the amount of time your PC spends in sleep mode have any influence in the outcome? What happens if you set it to sleep and a couple of seconds later wake your system up by wiggling the mouse?

Version 18.12 paid subscriber.
If I send it straight to sleep and wake it up it'll be fine. If I don't leave any file explorers or browser windows open it'll be fine. If I leave skype or any windows open minimized or not and its been asleep a long while it does it.

The taskbar isn't always stuck in the middle of the screen, usually it'll pop back down but the skin overlay will be off and it'll be flickering. any windows that were open will be rolled up. I open task manager and cpu use is high. explorer.exe will be the issue. I restart it and the desktop resizes it and that fixes it. Sometimes have to restart skype etc

Are you using hybrid sleep (Power Options > Advanced settings)? Try turning that off to see if it helps.

it was on . turned it off and still did it after 10 mins of sleep. taskbar and other windows pushed up.

This is very similar to features:) I reported a while back with virtual machines.
The work around was I think to reload Extreme @Jorge

I can easily test this out locally on a VM!

Seems I fixed it. I run a program for dual monitors called display fusion pro. it adds a button to active windows among other things. I think it was conflicting with winstep somehow. I added exceptions for it . not doing it anymore....

Thanks for letting me know. Conflicts with 3rd party software are always a pain to diagnose.
