If I go to preferences from either dock or workshelf and click on backup button, it backs up both dock and workshelf correct? |

Just to clear it up (hope I don't actually make it worse, eheh): WorkShelf is the name of the application in the Winstep Xtreme suite that provides docks, shelves, drawers, grid stacks and modules/widgets (to further clarify, Nexus Ultimate is basically a sub-set of WorkShelf without the desktop version of modules/widgets and skinnable context menus). So yes, when you do a backup from WorkShelf Preferences it saves all that (all docks, shelves, settings, etc...). This said, NextSTART is the OTHER component of Winstep Xtreme, and it provides the menus, taskbar replacement and hotspots. Since it's a separate application, its own settings must be backed up from NextSTART Preferences. |
