Apologies in advance if this has been answered before. My search didn't come up with results. I have two Chrome instances that are always open in my second monitor. I would like to launch a new Chrome instance when I single click on the Chrome icon in my dock. I know that I can double click, but I'm not too fond of that. I have unchecked the "Do not launch multiple sessions on the same application" setting and have also played around with the Tasklist Actions, but I have not been able to have it work as described above. Any ideas would be highly appreciated. Thank you. |

Is the 'Combine dock icons with running applications' enabled? If not, you must click on the Chrome icon on the *left* side of the dock to launch a new session (assuming 'Do not launch multiple sessions...' is also disabled, as you say). Otherwise, what exactly are your settings for the dock in terms of running applications so I can try to reproduce the issue here? |

Hello Jorge. Thanks for the fast reply. 'Combine dock icons with running applications' is indeed enabled. My Running Applications settings are these: https://i.imgur.com/9nT2HsA.png |

Don't hate it, I had completely forgotten about this thread, sorry. Let's try something: place a shortcut to Notepad on the dock. Now click on it to open Notepad. With Notepad open, click on the shortcut in the dock again. What happens? Do you get a second Notepad session? |

No problem Jorge! I did what you asked. Just like Chrome, first Notepad launches, second one doesn't. If I double click, a second Notepad launches. |

Ok, gotcha thanks, managed to reproduce it here with your settings. I'll get back to you soon. |

I *think* it's already fixed in the latest public beta (if you enable 'Notify me of beta (test) versions' in the Advanced tab of Preferences. |

Hmm. I have a Chrome icon in my Dock and it only brings my Hangouts window (which is an instance of Chrome) to the front when I click it. This may also be relevant. |

v19.4 *is* the beta. Last official release is v19.2. |
