What do you mean by 'get them into Winstep' ?

Also, what are you running, Nexus, Nexus Ultimate or Winstep Xtreme?

Not sure I understand, as you don't 'import' wallpapers into Winstep. You apply them normally, like you would any other Windows wallpaper.

Each Winstep theme normally also has an associated wallpaper. Are you trying to prevent theme wallpapers from changing the wallpaper you have applied when you switch to a different Winstep theme?

Or are you confusing 'wallpapers' with 'Winstep themes' ?

I have downloaded this theme https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/winstep/803/ but as you can see the displayed wallpaper which i rather like is not included there is a link to it. I downloaded it to a temp folder but cant seem to apply it or whatever.

Since you downloaded the wallpaper, you can right click on the file and choose "Set as desktop background" in Windows Explorer and it will be your wallpaper. Or, in NextStart prefs, go to the Themes tab and with your current theme selected, click "Open Folder". That will take you to the folder for that theme. Move your wallpaper file into that folder. That folder probably already has a wallpaper.jpg/bmp/png/etc file in it. rename that to wallpaper.whatever.old and rename the file you WANT to be the wallpaper to wallpaper.whatever.
