Hello. New here. First, thanks for the best dock app ever. So nice to customize Windows with the Nexus app without a single error or bug (so far).

Anyways, I have a simple problem. I can't find anymore the information to set up the mail checker to open the Windows Mail app. I found the path of the app earlier but not anymore, so can you pls tell me what was it. I can see partially the path from the Mail shortcut properties but it didn't help me to find out the full path.

Hi
Help us to help you, sounds like a deal right we need more information.
Things that would help is what version of windows are you using? Win7/8/10
if win 10 is it 1903? the windows version. I hope you can see where IAm going.

Any more information would be nice you can think of, Iam afraid one liner's dont explain a lot.

Jorge will help Iam sure of that.

Apologies for the late reply. The Windows 10 Mail App is not a normal Win32 executable, it's a UWP App and as such does not follow the same rules or has a normal 'path/filename' you can use to launch it. Basically it's like it lives on a different universe, or something. :)

Here is what you can do to solve the issue for now: place a *shortcut* to the Mail App on the Desktop or on a folder in your hard drive. In the Email Settings dialog, reference the pathname to the shortcut (shortcut files end in .lnk).

This way the Winstep Email Checker module will launch the shortcut which, in turn, will launch the mail app.

Oh don't mention it.

Why I couldn't figure it out... using a shortcut. Anyways, thx for the perfect solution.

Don't blame yourself lol... the Email Client field should already be accepting dropping UWP apps into it (but isn't yet, need to make a few changes first).
