Xtreme and NextStart do not load. WorkShelf is Fine. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but get same results. Don't know when this started. Just recently tried to open xtreme.

Well, Xtreme is basically a combination of NextSTART and WorkShelf. So, if WorkShelf is loading fine, only NextSTART isn't.

What happens if you manually launch NextSTART.exe from the

C:\Program Files (x86)\Winstep\

folder? Also, what happens if you press CTRL+F12? Do you see nextstart.exe in the Details tab of the Windows 10 Task Manager?

Just want to add to it what Jorge (the developer) said. Right-click on the dock control module usually on the left side of the dock. That's the default red color diamond that says Nexus in yellowish gold.

After the right-click, go to Exit > then left-click on Exit Winstep Xtreme. Check to see if both Run NextSTART at Startup and Run WorkShelf at Startup is checked.

If not, check the one(s) that aren't and restart the PC and see if the problem still exists.

If NextSTART is running, press CTRL+F12. This should open NextSTART Preferences. Then go to the Taskbar tab in NextSTART Preferences and check which settings are enabled, etc

On the taskbar tab, nothing is checked.

Well, you've answered your own question there - if nothing is checked, nothing will and can show.

ok, so what gets checked to get winstep start menu???

The setting at the top of the Taskbar tab in NextSTART Preferences that says 'Allow NextSTART to replace the Windows taskbar'.

When that is enabled the NextSTART taskbar should replace the Windows taskbar, and pressing the Start button on the NextSTART taskbar will open the NextSTART Start Menu instead of the Windows Start Menu (optionally, of course).

I get the windows start menu.

I clicked on "Associate to Nextstart Menu" and now it says Associate to Windows Start Menu.

Results still the same. I can't invoke the nexstart start menu

I would think all this is self explanatory, no?

Now that it says 'Associate to Start Menu' when you RIGHT click on the Start Button, what happens when you LEFT click the Start Button? This time you should get the NextSTART Start Menu, and not the Windows Start Menu.
