I just "upgraded" to Windows 10. I now have "Apps" added to Workshelf, which is fine but I have lost the "Main" tab. When I search for it to add it it isn't there anymore. Has that been removed? Thanks.

Wow... No.

How did you upgrade to Windows 10? Clean installation or did you install it on top of the previous Windows version?

And did you do anything to the existing Winstep installation before or after upgrading?

The Apps tab which contains all installed UWP apps appears by default on the Shelf when running Windows 10, but as far as I know that only happens when creating a new Shelf/installing Winstep Xtreme/Nexus Ultimate from scratch (or restoring factory defaults). At least that was the intention!

Nothing. Actually, I was surprised I didn't have to re-install but I guess maybe I need to now?

You will lose all your settings if you do. Let me have a look at the code first to see if I figure out what could have caused this.

Thanks.

Make sure the Winstep Xtreme service is running: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

And it's not "saying the time" any more either. Sigh.

Re-install Winstep Xtreme *on top*. Just remember to exit it before running setup. Also make a backup of your settings before, just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, without having looked at the code yet, I'm afraid that might be a bug triggered by the transition from Win7 to Win10, with the Main tab having been replaced by the Apps tab (and the content deleted).

Try changing the tab type of the Apps tab from 'Apps' to 'Regular', but don't get your hopes up.

No, that just removed all the apps. And now "say the time" isn't working again.
