UltimateSetup.exe. NexusSetup.exe is the setup file for the free version of Nexus.

I didn't know that. I've been installing Nexus.exe. That could explain the problems.

Oh yeah. Especially if you are running both at the same time.

Go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Winstep\

and make sure to delete Nexus.exe, if it exists there.

I exited from Nexus then installed Winstep. It worked fine.

Today: Just checked in Control Panel, only "Nexus Ultimate" is listed.

And I opened Properties, clicked on Behavior, and that error msg. popped up.

Then I clicked on the next tab and the Properties window AND the shortcut bars shut down. :?:

Launched it again. Opened Preferences and saw my registration is still there.
Was able to do a backup, just in case you think I should totally delete and start over. :)

Properties is working.
