I enjoy nexus very much. however there's a small annoying bug I can't get rid off: there's a very weak "haze" behind the icons. dock transparency is set to full transparency, yet no matter what there is like a 5% or even less brighter rectangle behind the icons, also when magnified... what is causing it? cannot find a setting that may cause it. thanks!

You shouldn't be able to see that. Windows automatically passes mouse clicks/movements to whatever is behind a fully transparent part of a window - as such, the 'transparent' parts of a dock cannot really be 100% transparent, or the dock would automatically un-magnify as soon as the mouse pointer passed in the space between icons, for instance, among other unwanted effects.

As such, transparency in those parts is set to 0.5%. Enough for Windows to report mouse events to our dock but not enough to be actually visible (at least not under normal circumstances).

So, either you have your monitor brightness set to maximum on a white wallpaper background, or something weird is going on there.

What version of Windows, what video card? Are you using the latest video card drivers? Also, can you capture the haziness you describe when you take a screenshot of your desktop (e.g.; using either the built in Capture Desktop internal command or the PRTSCR key) ?
