Where is Nexus stored on a pc?

I ran Avira system speed up and my dock disappeared. Normally this wouldn't be a big issue as I used to run all my shortcuts on the taskbar. Now I have to hunt through the start menu to be able to run anything.

I tried to restore the backup that Avira created before it did it's thing but depite disabling Avira it still buggered up the restore.

Frustrated after waiting ages for several restore to get nowhere. I don't blame Nexus I just want to know where the exe file lives.

i think he might have meant docks/settings which would be in registry?

He asked where the exe lives, so I told him. Anyway, if that wasn't it, he hasn't clarified in 10 days either.
