So I have come across something unusual. Skinning the QuickLaunch icons. If I give them to use mouseover and have an image that's 40 px or so it's going to make the taskbar bigger.

Now I can fix this if I set the settings of nextstart to decide the icons and it makes them small.

This is odd behavior because the icons for QL are the same size as the TaskList icons. 32x32 px. Yet it's scaling up those mouseover images and hence making the space bigger.

Is there no way around this aside from setting the QL icons to 16px? I did notice some skins seem to be avoiding that mouseover image.

Found myself an answer looking at another skin. Had to set icon size in the ini to 30.

Best way to learn about skinning at this point is looking at what the other skins do.
