Hi :D
Ok a one time big user of Xtream, return’s(me). Iam getting a new windows computer in a week come Monday. When the new machine arrives I will be possibly signing up for a new license.

This depends on a few things like. And is by no means certain.
Thanks for the message Jorge, but it gives me concern, that you are paying for a years worth off updates to the software. This is what gives me concern, the current version 19.2 is a year and a few months old.

I understand that a new version is in the offing (thanks Jorge) But as far as I can see from the outside little has been done since the introduction of “Grid-Stack’s”!!! That was current when I left-off working with windows and went over to Debian an ultimately now working for AcroLinux.

I can run currently with my old license and get the features through updates -:- Why should I fork out more money for a license? Have I missed something? This used to be(not saying its not still) a viberent community, with releases and releases, What happened?

I understand that you can’t improve on perfection, has that state arrived with the planned new version.

What happend to the big one was/has that just fallen by the way side?

How can and old/new user help?

Woohoo! Another Debian user. :D It's brill innit. I run that and Fedora - on one machine I have both dual booting, on another dual booting Debian and Mint. On the laptop I dual boot Win 10 and Debian and run Ubuntu in Hyper V. Going to move Win 10 into a VM on Debian soon.

What we need is Winstep for Linux. ;)

The thought had occurred to be Nexter, Iam stuck(onlinux) with cairo-dock.
Waiting on the next version due out off winstep b 4 I comit.

Ugh - Cairo dock is a PITA. I'm making do and use the Cinnamon DE, except on Ubuntu where it's the default GNOME-like one. The thing that Linux really needs is a completely new type of window manager and DE - ideally, something based on/around Wayland and Compice, with a completely different, fully 3-D DE with some Winstep-like features.

Sorry for the lack of reply during the last week, was in the process of changing offices.

v20.5 is on the pipeline and will be officially released once things settle down here.
