Certain applications and games when run completely in full screen do not show up on the dock, so to close them or something I have to use Task Manager.

Is there any way to get the dock to recognize these as dock items? So I can pull them up again from the dock instead of having to use the search bar? Thanks.

Please specify exactly which games and applications suffer from this problem (and one or two examples that don't).

Also, if they are full screen, how can you see the dock? Do you have it placed on a secondary monitor?

Yeah of course. So for instance, Ark Survival Evolved when played in windowed mode shows up on the dock, but when switched to fullscreen it no longer shows. Minecraft also does not show up on the dock regardless.

There may be something to be said about the medium in which they're launched though, as both of those are from the Xbox store, but all of my Steam games are able to be fullscreen with no issue.

Trying to determine if this has something to do with the dock auto-disabling some features when a full screen application (such as a game) is running, so it does not interfere with it.
