Hi there,
Since I moved to Windows 11 NextStart is no longer picks up OS SysTray icons... I can see the USB safe remove icon but I can't see Net and Sound icons:





Does anyone know how to solve this?

Unfortunately Microsoft in Windows 11 decided to change things again just for the sake of changing things. As such, it removed the system icons (Sound, Net and Battery) out of the normal systray and moved them into a separate area.

Because of Microsoft's TPM 2.0 requirements I could not install Windows 11 on older systems here nor in a VirtualBox VM, so I basically had to order a new system to start looking into these issues (more information HERE)

The new Windows 11 system arrived this week and I'm in the process of migrating my development environment, so I should start looking into solving Windows 11 compatibility issues at the start of next week.

In the mean time, to mitigate this issue add the following items to a dock or the Quick Launch section of the NextSTART taskbar in Winstep Xtreme:

1. Add a new Internal Command named 'Show Volume Control".

2. Add a new program item and set the Filename field to "ms-availablenetworks:" (without the quotes). You will have to provide a nice icon for that item, but it will/should open the list of available networks in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Ok, but this seems to be the only known issue, at least as far as I know. Typing this from the new Windows 11 machine.
